I have been engaged in the healing arts for the past 40 years, and have practiced Traditional Oriental Medicine for nearly three decades. I treat a wide range of conditions, both chronic and acute. In addition to acupuncture, I am a certified herbologist, and prescribe Chinese herbal formulas. I may also use tuina (Chinese massage) moxa or cupping, or suggest specific exercises, or diet or lifestyle adjustments.
I received my Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine from Meiji College in Berkeley, I hold Diplomates in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commisssion for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and am licensed by the State of Florida.
Chinese medicine is based on the idea that balance and flow are the key to healing. Imbalance or obstruction often creates illness or pain. When treating it, it's important to consider and address both the root and the branch of the problem. And because acupuncture enhances healing and strengthens the immune response, there are always collateral benefits.
