Dr. Mark, Board Certified in Atlas Orthogonal, found great relief from pain through Chiropractic and realized this was his passion. Originally an Electrical Engineer, attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Mark experienced the gentle precision of Atlas Orthogonal and interned at the Sweat Institute of Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic with Dr. Roy Sweat, the inventor of Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic. After two years of intensive instruction in Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic, Dr. Mark returned to Chicago to help Chicagoland get rid of pain. It is very rewarding to see the smiling face of my patients when they are no longer bothered by pain.

Nazia received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. She then went onto complete her Master of Science in Nutrition and Wellness (MSNW) and Masters of Public Health (MPH) alongside her Dietetic Internship at Benedictine University. She then worked for Kaplan University for their Nutrition Department as an adjunct instructor. She has also worked as a clinical dietitian for Good Samaritan Hospital. While at Kaplan Nazia completed her Master of Science in Education in Instructional technology (MS Ed.). Nazia is currently working on her PhD in Health Sciences.

Hi! My name is Kelsey and I’ve been a Registered Dietitian since 2014, licensed in the state of Illinois. I’ve always had an interest in food, which started in childhood. I was a very picky eater (sorry mom and dad!), and decided early on that I would be a vegetarian. As I’ve gotten older, I have expanded my food palate, but I’ve always stuck with the morals of eating foods that help me feel good and I believe that is a guiding principle of overall health.

Meredith Starr is a registered dietitian and Director of Nutrition Services at Allow Wellness in Chicago. She is an alumna of the University of Illinois at Chicago Coordinated Nutrition Program and began her nutrition career at UI Health general inpatient services while working part-time at a residential treatment facility for eating disorders. Meredith is deeply passionate about the treatment of eating disorders and has been practicing in this field for the past seven years.

I have successfully treated thousands of patients since graduating in 2007. I run a busy practice in Naperville, Illinois and specialize in all women's health issues, pain, cancer care and autoimmune diseases. Each person receives one on one attention and care at our clinic. I specialize in working with adults, but can provide referrals to other providers who work with children or adolescents, upon request.

Dr. Xie (Dr. J) is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist (NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine). Dr. J is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and Wisconsin. He practiced traditional and conventional medicine in China from 1985 to 2005 as a physician and professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced acupuncture in USA since 2005. He currently is a Professor and a clinical supervisor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. His training includes 5 years of medical school, 3 years of residency, 7 years of postgraduate training in traditional and conventional medicine.

I believe we have the ability to cause ourselves to function in a state of well being, or in a state of illness. I believe all aliments have a holistic component creating a need for a holistic approach to well being. My goal in treating patients is to help them return to a state of well being using an individualized holistic and integrative approach to wellness. I believe in treating all patients, especially children, in the least invasive and most effective way possible.

Eric graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Master of Education. He is also a Certified Health Education Specialist. Eric enjoys working one-on-one with clients to tailor their eating habits to support their individual health.

I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and a Board Certified Renal (Kidney) Nutrition Specialist. When I initially pursued a career in nutrition I was drawn to the idea that something as basic as food could have such a profound effect on health. Now my goal is to provide my clients with the most up-to-date nutrition advice backed by science, so they can feel empowered around food (even if they have a chronic disease). I was born and raised in north Florida and now reside in central Florida with my husband, son, and dog.

Richard Kim L.Ac has learned Eastern Medicine in L.A. and he studied more in Republic of Korea. And his one of the eastern medicine skills is a Chuna manipulation which is the treatment of pulling and pushing the muscle which balances your body by releasing the tensions in the muscle, ligament, disc, and vertebrae. After the Chuna manipulation, Richard Kim L.Ac helps the movement of the patient during acupuncture treatment in severe cases. This movement assistance during the acupuncture therapy eases the pain by releasing the muscles, and circulating blood very well.

Dajana Marin is a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a weight-neutral and non-diet approach. She completed her bachelor’s degree and supervised practice at Dominican University and is finishing her master’s degree in applied exercise science with a concentration in sports nutrition. Dajana has experience working in a clinical and private practice settings with diverse populations and conditions. She is passionate about helping her clients make lifelong sustainable changes through an intuitive eating approach. Her counseling style is calming, warm, open, and gently challenging.
