My name is Kelsey, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and fellow celiac. I work with people one on one, helping you navigate living gluten-free and life with a chronic disease. Whether you have a new celiac diagnosis or an existing diagnosis, I help provide support in the areas that are most challenging for you.

I am in my 25th year as a licensed Acupuncturist. I see many patients with pain and orthopedic related problems as well as chronic and debilitating illnesses such as cancer, MS, irritable bowel, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and mental health issues. I am also on staff at the MGH Cancer Center. While I do not treat cancer directly, I work to help with immune support and stress reduction, to support the whole person in body and mind as they go through cancer treatment. In addition to acupuncture, I work with my hands sometimes using Tuina chinese massage or Specialized Stretching (AIS).

I became interested in natural healing techniques a long time ago. Considering the potential side effects of medicines commonly prescribed, I thought it worthwhile to study alternative methods of healing. Initially, I trained in Shiatsu and Massage Therapy, I graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1984. My post-graduate studies involved extensive training in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

My ideal patient is someone who wants to learn about clean eating and healthy ingredients to put into AND onto their body and how just one ingredient can promote health or disease. For example, spinach or chicken may be toxic to my patient but healthy to someone else. Through customized nutrition treatment plans, genetic testing, application of Chinese medicine (when clinically appropriate), and meal planning my patients learn how to eat compatible, real foods for their body to eliminate the source of symptoms and health issues.

As a Dietitian and Licensed social worker, I'm well versed in mental health and its impact on nutrition and relationship with food. I like to collaborate with my clients to make SMART goals with their participation to provide support to manage disordered eating thoughts and behaviors, conquer fears, and implement intuitive eating techniques to enjoy food freedom while improving your healt. I enjoy helping clients make food choices that meet their lifestyle (and also taste good).
