I am passionate about clinical dietetics and truly understand how impactful nutrition interventions can be on improving patient & client outcomes. My approach is different from person to person and believe that the time needed to help someone should not be pre determined. This is what attracted me to working as a consult dietitian with Nutrition Collaborative. A setting where I, and more importantly the client, dictate the process.

I am an eating disorder dietitian in Washington, DC who specializes in working with adults with eating disorders and truly believe full recovery is possible. I work with client's recovering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa (which I believe can occur at all body sizes but in some cases is referred to as Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder or OSFED), Orthorexia, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Binge Eating Disorder, body image concerns and body dysmorphia. I also love helping clients without eating disorder diagnoses break free from chronic dieting and disordered eating patterns.

Issues we can tackle together: eating disorders, gut health (IBS, SIBO, UC), yo-yo dieting, weight management, prenatal nutrition, postpartum nutrition, childhood nutrition, and/or preventative nutrition. I am a registered dietitian, Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition, and Certified Lactation Counselor with close to 20 years of practice in pediatrics and gastrointestinal health. I specialize in food allergy and intolerance, including eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), celiac disease, food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) and maternal diet elimination for breastfeeding babies with food protein-induced allergy. I am passionate about helping others to navigate their food allergies or intolerances and nourish the body despite food eliminations.
