I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Health at Every Size (HAES) practitioner. I specialize in eating disorder recovery and helping people find food freedom. Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder, tired of yo-yo dieting and weight cycling, or just feeling confused about how to eat, I am here to guide you towards the path to food freedom and Intuitive Eating. Dr. Ballere was born and raised in Northern California near the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. She graduated from Cal Poly State University in Luis Obispo majoring in Nutritional Science. She continued on to fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor earning her Doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2009. Dr. Ballere treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She holds a special place in her heart and in her practice for supportive cancer care since her mother's own diagnosis and winning battle with colon cancer that began in 2005.

At Harmony Community Wellness Center, our mission is to provide affordable, high quality acupuncture to the North County community. We do this by offering individualized treatments in a quiet, open community setting. We ask you to decide what you can afford on a sliding scale ($20-40). We want you to come often enough to really be able to get better and stay better, and the sliding scale is our way of helping you make that commitment. There is an additional $10 paperwork fee for your first appointment.
