I studied and practiced both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China. I also received a Master degree in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Washington in Seattle. I have over 20 years of experience in health care, as an OB/GYN doctor in China, a clinical research specialist in the department of OB/GYN at the University of Washington Medical Center, and a certified nutritionist for the US Federal WIC program. With knowledge, experience, and passion, I started my private practice of TCM in 1996.

My nutrition philosophy is unique in that I focus on providing evidence-based, individualized nutrition recommendations focusing on moderation, variety, and how to fit patients' favorite foods into a healthy eating lifestyle. This can improve quality of life for many individuals who feel they must restrict certain foods to be healthy or lose weight. In addition, I have a special passion for working with individuals with eating disorders, athletes/dancers, weight management, and GI conditions/food allergies. I have been a practitioner since I graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1991. For my MS, MD and PHD degrees I specialized in the areas of neurology and gerontology.I practiced acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and TCM health Center in Minnesota from October 2004 to April 2010. I practice acupuncture and Chinese herbology in Jing River Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine Edina Clinic, Woodbury Clinic, Roseville Clinic and Hastings Clinic in different location now.

Dr. Sharon Johnson-Eby, LAc., MSOM, DCM, is a Licensed Acupuncturist with NCCAOM board certification in Acupuncture, Master’s and Doctorate degree in Chinese Medicine. She’s the founder of An Medi-Zen, which utilizes both Integrative Health & Chinese Medicine. My path as a Massage Therapist began in 1995 as a student and graduated with honors from Seattle Massage School at the Greenlake Campus - Seattle, Washington in 1996. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist -WA state, Board Certified Therapeutic Massage Bodywork (BCTMB), Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), hold an Intra Oral Endorsement on my Washington State LMT license and certified in Pregnancy and Post Natal Massage. I practice from a weight inclusive and non-diet lens and I love instilling confidence and knowledge in clients as they strive towards peace with food and body. Dr. Nate Champion is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Arizona and registered in the state of Minnesota. He is extensively trained in both conventional and alternative medicine. He has attended a 4-year, accredited medical school, including 2 years of clinical rotations, and has passed national board exams. Dr. Champion is Board Certified by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE). He is also a founding board member and the current Treasurer of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP), and past Vice President and current member of the Minnesota Association of Naturopathic Physicians (MNANP).

Hi! My name is Melissa and I am both a registered dietitian and a nurse. Although I have learned so much and enjoyed working as a registered nurse in both acute care and outpatient settings, my interests truly lie in chronic disease prevention and management through a healthful diet and lifestyle and in learning from the journey taken toward achieving these goals. My passion is in helping others along their journey to reaching their personal health and wellness goals.
