I've seen firsthand the tremendous impact nutrition can have on your brain and body, after suffering a concussion with a multitude of related symptoms, I felt lost. Nutrition saved my brain, and improved my memory and concentration. In the process my gut health also improved, sugar cravings went away, and I slept better. I suffered a lot of different symptoms after my concussion and know my nutrition played a huge role in my healing process and where I am today.

I take a client-focused approach and have experience with nutrition counseling, eating disorders, weight management, women's health and sports nutrition. I will work with my client to help them reach their goals and be your biggest cheerleader. I also have a Master of Science degree in Nutrition & Physical Performance and enjoy meeting with athletes to discuss ways to optimize performance through nutritional habits.

I have been a practitioner since I graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1991. For my MS, MD and PHD degrees I specialized in the areas of neurology and gerontology.I practiced acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and TCM health Center in Minnesota from October 2004 to April 2010. I practice acupuncture and Chinese herbology in Jing River Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine Edina Clinic, Woodbury Clinic, Roseville Clinic and Hastings Clinic in different location now.

He has attended a 4-year, accredited medical school, including 2 years of clinical rotations, and has passed national board exams. Dr. Champion is Board Certified by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE). He is also a founding board member and the current Treasurer of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP), and past Vice President and current member of the Minnesota Association of Naturopathic Physicians (MNANP).
