I was trained at Zhejiang Traditional Medical College and Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medical University in China. After I received my Chinese medical degree in 1985 and MS degree in 1988, I worked as an Assistant Professor and Professor at the Medical College of Wenzhou, P.R. of China. After I received my Ph.D from Kanazawa Medical University, Japan, I engaged in both high quality medical research and clinical work in traditional Chinese medicine. Upon completion of my degree, I decided to continue my research in pulmonary biology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

I am a registered dietitian that wants to help you find your best self. I use a non-diet approach to nutrition with an emphasis on intuitive eating. I believe food is meant to nourish your body, mind and brain. I have worked with a diverse background of individuals and have experience counseling a variety of individuals with different ailments and or dietary restrictions. Toma Massage LLC is the private practice of Todd Thomas LMT. As a licensed massage therapist my goal is to provide a satisfying experience using integrative massage techniques and modalities to address your individual needs. Each massage therapy session is aimed toward helping to relieve chronic pain and in reducing stress. So beyond treating physical pain I utilize EFT (emotional freedom techniques) to help clients deal with un-resolved emotional events contributing to their pain.

I love working with high school & college aged athletes that want to improve performance. These athletes may be experiencing an unhealthy relationship with food or body image and are looking to change their relationship with food and be more confident in the body that they have.

I am passionate about clinical dietetics and truly understand how impactful nutrition interventions can be on improving patient & client outcomes. My approach is different from person to person and believe that the time needed to help someone should not be pre determined. This is what attracted me to working as a consult dietitian with Nutrition Collaborative. A setting where I, and more importantly the client, dictate the process.
