Hi! My name is Melissa and I am both a registered dietitian and a nurse. Although I have learned so much and enjoyed working as a registered nurse in both acute care and outpatient settings, my interests truly lie in chronic disease prevention and management through a healthful diet and lifestyle and in learning from the journey taken toward achieving these goals. My passion is in helping others along their journey to reaching their personal health and wellness goals.

Many times, clients I work with feel preoccupied/obsessed with food and diet culture and are seeking release from this distress. The typical clientele I work with includes those struggling with disordered eating, those looking to gain or lose weight, and those who have concerns about cardiovascular health. I also have a Master of Science degree in Nutrition & Physical Performance and enjoy meeting with athletes to discuss ways to optimize performance through nutritional habits.

I have been a practitioner since I graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1991. Hello, I’m Lindsey! I am a registered dietitian passionate about supporting individuals and families in cultivating an improved and sustainable relationship with food and eating. Through experiences in working with those living with eating disorders, I have knowledge in guiding people of all ages and disordered eating types to find healing and recovery. My goal is to build strong relationships with clients through listening and collaboration with a non-judgemental stance on food and weight.

I enjoy getting to know my patients in order to provide individualized, wellness-oriented healthcare. I was trained at Bastyr University as a naturopathic doctor. I help people with Lyme and chronic fatigue get their energy back through natural means that counterbalance the effects of more conventional approaches so that they are able to live their lives more fully, experiencing vibrant health.
