She has spent time in the research of chronic pain and its neurological impact on our autonomic nervous system, informing her holistic approach to orthopedic treatment. Most recently, she has studied in the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification program, the most comprehensive orthopedic post-graduate program available to acupuncturists. I offer Japanese Bodywork. It is a unique blend of massage, acupuncture, and stretching instructions that you can easily follow at home. It is an all encompassing modality that enables you to improve your health mechanically and energetically. Since 2004, I have treated migraine headaches, back pains, shoulder pains, frozen shoulders, infertility, reproductive issues, digestive issues, TMJ, nerve pains, fibromyalgia, MS, insomnia, and anxiety.

I primarily treat chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries. My belief is that these are often multi-faceted. Injuries can ultimately be a result of structural or movement imbalances that go beyond a simple slip and fall. Pain itself can have multiple causes; there are different "types" of pain. I practice an intuitive art form rooted in scientific knowledge. Traditional medicine does not specialize in treating the myofascial restrictions that may be involved in chronic pain conditions or structural dysfunction. The tried and true techniques of deep tissue massage and myofascial release aim to restore the normal functioning of fascia by breaking up the glue that binds these adhesions.
