Some examples of conditions I treat are whiplash, neck pain, thoracic outlet syndrome, headaches, back pain, shoulder dysfunction, hip pain, carpal tunnel, "sciatica" and TMJ dysfunction.

I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist with 10 years of experience. Getting support for recovery can be difficult and scary. I founded Mountaintop Nutrition in hopes of making the barriers to care a little more surmountable. I believe that the therapeutic relationship, foundational education and honesty are vital to successful work together. I offer virtual and in-person sessions in Brentwood, TN. Dr Li Zhang, LAC.was born and raised in a medical family in China; She got her MD.degree from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 1991; received her master degree majored in acupuncture and Chinese herb in1996 from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She is a licensed acupuncturist with over twenty years experience. She has earned diplomates in Acupuncture and diplomate in Chinese Herbology from NCCAOM. With her education and work experience she has a great knowledge in combining acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to treat various chronic disease, male and female diseases, and pain.
