I found naturopathic medicine the hard way- after coming to a point in my own health where conventional physicians said they had "reached the end of the road" in treatment options. The irony was that this statement marked the beginning the road leading me to a career devoted to getting to the root cause of disease and utilizing compassionate medicine that treats the whole person. I was born & raised in Tucson and received my doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ with an emphasis in fertility and women’s health.

I am a naturopathic physician trained in family medicine and love working with children and their families. I can provide primary care services, including well-checks, sick visits and chronic health issues or I can be one part of a healthcare team to best support you or your child. Most important is that I do not have an agenda: I try to approach and support each family and their own personal needs. My goal is to be part of your team and to build a relationship over time so you and/or your child can feel safe in my office.

We offer an eclectic blend of the best of manual techniques - from gentle stretching and infant adjusting, to myofascial release / active release, and athletic adjustments. We are passionate about treating people who have been injured in auto collisions. Stats show that over 1/2 of these people will still be in pain 2 years later, even with treatment. We do our due diligence to make sure our patients receive every necessary testing and treatment, coordinating with other health professionals. We also enjoy helping those with upper neck and headache issues utilizing the Atlas Orthogonal technique. We are one of 200 or so doctors in the world trained in this technique, which is gentle and very effective. We have seen great success treating patients with migraine headaches with this method.

I am a career healthcare provider with a 23-year Western medical ICU background prior to entering the field of acupuncture/TCM. My experience as an RCP-NPS at some of the top teaching/research hospitals in the US - and abroad - uniquely informs my integrative approach to treatment. For the past 12 years, the practice of TCM has allowed me to bring the most modern scientific understanding to the truly comprehensive holistic approach on which this ancient healing system is premised. As a retired professional ballet dancer, I have dedicated most of my life to the study of movement. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. Once I stopped performing, it seemed only natural that I would gravitate toward a profession in the field of bodywork. Acupuncture was always helpful to me while I was dancing and I felt that practicing this amazing medicine would give me the opportunity to help others in the same way I was helped throughout my career. I am always excited to meet new patients and to help them reach their health goals!

I have been a licensed and certified massage therapist since August 2000. I worked full time at Canyon Ranch Health & Fitness Resort until March of 2007 catering to a high end international clientele.
