I am a native Houstonian who earned my Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from The American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Prior to my training in acupuncture and herbal medicine, I was a yoga instructor. I completed thorough, well-rounded teacher trainings with Robert Boustany as well as Ana Forrest. I now incorporate my knowledge of the breath, the body & finding balance ~ from the inside, out ~ to my acupuncture practice.

I'm a Registered Dietitian, based in the great state of Texas. I've worked in what feels like all aspects of the nutrition world- from clinical, to holistic, and even the community side of things. All of which have provided me with an immense insight and understanding of what individuals struggle with and what resources they need to truly be successful in their goals.

Jamie is a Registered Dietitian with Health Loft who takes a compassionate approach to nutrition therapy by meeting people where they are in their personal journeys and helping them make incremental changes in order to restore a peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. Growing up the daughter of athletic parents, I became interested in sports, wellness and nutrition at a young age. As a competitive gymnast and diver in college, I found it fascinating that what you ate could effect your sports performance. This lead me down the path to becoming a registered dietitian. I am passionate about helping people of all kinds meet their goals through nutrition and wellness and live a healthier life. Each client has their own personal plan that we devise together, so that it is something they can utilize long term.

My typical client has long term chronic conditions of pain, emotional trauma like anxiety, depression, burn-out, and digestive conditions combined with other conditions. Common issues include allergies, cold and flu symptoms, asthma, arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, hormonal imbalances, and fatigue. Generally, my clients are looking for a natural and alternative way to treat their conditions as a compliment to their western treatments at a root cause level to eliminate symptoms for a long - term basis. Typically after a series of sessions, my committed clients will have long-term relief from their symptoms.
