I specialize in working with clients who struggle with eating disorders, athletes looking to harness the power of nutrition without falling into obsession, those who are sick of the cycle of dieting and body hate, or anyone who is simply unsure how to fuel their body while navigating the confusing nutrition and food messaging in our society today.

Dr. Furjes' Office is a complete approach to holistic health. Chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, auricular therapy, decompression therapy, and traction round out the treatment options. We do digital X-Ray Imaging and EMI Graphing (acupuncture meridians) as well. All types of cases are welcome from the "catch in the back" to the more severe degenerative diseases. I received my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2014 and completed a three year independent residency at Arizona Digestive Health where I practiced as a licensed naturopathic physician alongside MD gastroenterologists. I have managed thousands of patients suffering with IBS, IBD, GERD, Dyspepsia, Gas/Bloating, Celiac, Hepatitis, Fatty Liver and More! As of now, Missouri is not a licensed state for naturopathic doctors and thus I do not hold a Missouri license. Michaela is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who practices out of Health Loft. She strongly believes that making healthy, sustainable, and nourishing choices take time and a strong partnership between the client and herself. Changes can be difficult and you need a caring partner to help you through them and make them fun. Michaela firmly stands by the idea that being healthy not only includes nutrition, but our mental and physical health as well. Everyone is unique and Michaela believes that nutrition is not one size fits all and she works to create personalized nutrition care for each individual to result in long-lasting change.

Lauren provides 1:1 medical nutrition therapy through a non-diet and Health At Every Size lens. Lauren is passionate about providing nutrition recommendations to empower individuals to enjoy foods they love in a realistic and balanced way, specific to their needs and lifestyle. She utilizes evidence-based research to help clients sort out the correct nutrition information from the myth. Lauren has experience working both the inpatient and outpatient settings seeing clients with a variety of health conditions, ages, and genders.

I work with adolescents and young adults to achieve a healthy relationship with food, body, and exercise. I include families in my treatment, as needed, to ensure adequate supports for everyone. Treating an eating disorder works best with a team- I work with parents, therapists, medical providers, and any other professionals to help my clients recover.

I am a registered, licensed dietitian, certified eating disorder specialist and nutrition therapist. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders. I also work with clients on body image, fitness, sports nutrition, intuitive eating, weight management, medical conditions requiring dietary modification and postoperative bariatric surgery diets.

St. Louis licensed Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine Doctor, Dr. Shanna Zhang is a specialist in the both area of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. She has successfully treated a wide range of diseases, and she has great experiences in: Pain relief, Migraine, Arthritis, Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Allergies, Sinusitis, Asthma, Skin Conditions (Eczema, Candida, etc), Infertility, Menopause, PMS, PCOS, Endometriosis, and many other women's health issues. Dr Zhang's experience and knowledge in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine allows her to continually excel in healing numerous patients and help them seek better quality of life.

Kristin is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who practices out of Health Loft, specializing in working with adults and adolescents with Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, Digestive issues, Crohn's, Celiac, and interested in Weight Management. Kristin enjoys collaborating with her clients and supporting them on their journey towards making sustainable lifestyle changes and believes health relies on the balance of nutritional, mental, social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. She whole heartedly believes that food is information for our cells and what we eat is critical to how we reveal ourselves to the world.
