The increasing need for integration of Western and Chinese medicine is at the heart of my philosophical approach to healing. In addition to pain management and relief, I specialize in cancer treatment support, emotional issues such as anxiety and depression, digestive disorders, and women's health.
Besides acupuncture and Chinese herbs, I provide guidance on nutritional supplement use, with an emphasis on monitoring for possible medication interactions.
My work with cancer patients concentrates on alleviaton of side effects from conventional treatment, such as nausea and fatigue, in addition to addressing bone marrow suppression issues, such as lowered white and red blood cell counts.
I often lecture to various groups, particularly medical professional groups aand support groups, such as the Piedmont Hospital Cancer Wellness Center and The Wellness Community in an effort to bridge the gap between mainstream conventional medicine and Chinese medicine.
