I am a practitioner of traditional Japanese acupuncture and have studied extensively with master acupuncturist Koji Ichihashi of the Kurumadani School of Japan. Japanese acupuncture technique involves shallow insertion of very thin, delicate needles into points along the Meridians of the body. It is a relaxing spa-like treatment that is gentle and essentially pain free. This style incorporates medical Shiatsu massage while the needles are in the body. I give my patients self-care education, Qigong (energy movement), nutritional counseling and suggest Chinese herbal therapies and/or supplements in a nurturing environment.

Oliver's journey into healing arts began in 1982. As a practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese medicine who specializes in Traumatology (Ditda-Shangke), he received extensive apprenticeship training in the States, Hong Kong, and Beijing under several reputable first-generation physicians, esoteric healers of Eastern medicine, and venerable masters of traditional martial arts since childhood. Oliver also served as a clinical intern and mentored at various facilities including American Institute of Acupuncture Orthopedics & Traumatology, California Pacific Medical Center, and Yueyang Hospital of Integrative Medicine in Shanghai, China.

I practiced with my father for 5 years before he retired, and I learned from him what really works to get people well. He started practice in 1959 and had a wealth of experience that I learned from. I incoporated that into the latest techniques that I learned at Life Chiropractic College West, an excellent technical school, to get a very well rounded technical expertise.

My name is Rocio Rodriguez. I have been working in the massage field for the last 16 years. Originally, I started off in college as a physical therapist major. I was introduced to massage and I was immediately drawn to the spiritual connection between mind and body, and as a result I actually went into the massage field. Massage therapy allowed me to develop a deep relationship with my clients in order to get a better understanding of their aliments. Hi I am Carmelita! I received my Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley in Nutritional Sciences- Dietetics. After graduating, I started my career as a Health Coach, then later earned certifications as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor, and Registered Dietitian. During my ten years as a Health Coach, I traveled to companies throughout the United States. I provided support to their employees by organizing health fairs, teaching group classes, and creating educational resources on topics such as diabetes management.

I work with women to help them come into alignment with their own unique rhythm with food + weight. Over the past 7 years, I've developed a method called The Pleasure Eating Process which is a simple practice for developing the lifelong skill of leading a pleasurable and easeful relationship with food + body.
