My ideal client feels overwhelmed or stuck when it comes to food, even if they “know” what they should be doing. They may be navigating disordered eating patterns, emotional eating, medical nutrition needs, or simply struggling with consistency due to a busy life, stress, ADHD, anxiety, or depression. They want to feel more confident in their choices, improve their relationship with food, and build sustainable habits that support both their physical and mental health.

My ideal patients have a chronic condition that hasn't resolved through conventional care. Tested, treated, told everything is normal — yet still suffering. They want the root cause addressed, not symptoms managed indefinitely.
Most arrive with chronic pain, IBS, digestive issues, anxiety, headaches, insomnia, or auto accident injuries. Many sense their symptoms are connected — that instinct is correct.
Steven identifies the pattern driving each condition and builds treatment around it. Patients often say it's the first time someone connected all the dots. Care moves from relief to correction to stability.

Hi there! I'm Jess - exciting to find you here! I refer to the care I provide as "nutrition therapy" rather than "dietitian services" because that feels most authentic to me. Eating is complex and personal. Eating can be joyful and nourishing or filled with conflict and pain from past experiences, sometimes passed down through generations. Aside from our individual and family history, our culture and often the world of health care can be harsh and stigmatizing about matters of size and shape and lead people to be in a constant battle with their bodies. Further, the world of nutrition and healthy eating advice can be full of contradiction, misinformation, and rigidity. Finally, any sort of physical issue or illness affected by eating behavior and food choices make it hard to know how to eat to be well.

For nearly 10 years, my body rebelled against my conventional low-fat, convenience food diet with IBS, intense anxiety, constant cravings, and chronic knee pain (all before the age of 25!). It wasn't until I learned about the healing power of a real food, anti-inflammatory diet and discovered some food sensitivities that I saw a dramatic relief in my digestive and joint symptoms, plus an improvement in how my brain functioned. Now, I am passionate about helping others find their own relief, breakthroughs, and successes in their journey of healing using simple, nutritious foods!
