New clients that see Dr. Fontes, start with a consult so they can go over all their issues, needs and goals. Once it is clear what the client want to accomplish and what is going on with them, Dr Fontes recommends a treatment plan. Because he has been an instructor for many years at a Acupuncture College and Homeopathic College, it is easy for him to communicate in a way clients can understand.

I has earned extremely valuable acupuncture clinical experience when I worked in China. If I have 10 times chance to treat people's Low Back Pain, I can make the Back Pain reliving about 80 percentage for most people. Some patient just fly from Georgia and Texas to Arizona for watching me because they can not get help from their local doctor. Some patient's Auto Injury finally got help from me. My experience as an RCP-NPS at some of the top teaching/research hospitals in the US - and abroad - uniquely informs my integrative approach to treatment. For the past 14 years, the practice of TCM has allowed me to bring the most modern scientific understanding to the truly comprehensive holistic approach on which this ancient healing system is premised.
