I grew up in China and graduated from the Medical School of Chengdu Sports University, where I received my Bachelors degree in Medicine, with an emphasis on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and worked for several years as a certified orthopedic surgeon, acupuncture and massage physician. I am a NCCAOM board-certified acupuncturist and also have a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy as a result of my continued US education. I have thorough experience in treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions and their underlying causes, using a holistic approach through acupuncture, massage, and herbal medicine.

I help women lose weight through reducing inflammation instead of calories. When done correctly, weight loss can be more of a passive side effect rather than the target. Together we will incorporate lab based testing, an extensive genetic workup and behavior coaching to make sure no stone is left unturned. Dr. Ballere was born and raised in Northern California near the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. She graduated from Cal Poly State University in Luis Obispo majoring in Nutritional Science. She continued on to fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor earning her Doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2009. Dr. Ballere treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She holds a special place in her heart and in her practice for supportive cancer care since her mother's own diagnosis and winning battle with colon cancer that began in 2005.

I was born and raised in Auburn, California and am a 1996 graduate of Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in North America. Growing up with my dad as a local doctor inspired me to pursue medicine myself. Personal illness with questions left unanswered by western medicine led me in the direction of naturopathic medicine. I am passionate about helping people find their optimal health. I fill up my free time with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters. Together we enjoy rock-climbing, horse back riding, surfing, gardening and just being together.
