As a Naturopath, I address the same problems that medical doctors see every day in their office. However, instead of treating a patient with medications that suppress symptoms, I work to find out what is causing the undesirable conditions. By exploring your specific symptoms and body/organ/gland conditions during your consultation, much can be learned about how your body is expressing nutritional deficiencies, the need to detoxify, weakened organ/glands, sensitivity to foods, emotional issues and more. Hyundo (a.k.a. Hans) Kim is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and a former professor at the prestigious Sangji University in Korea. He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Then he graduated from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA with Magna Cum Laude and spent the next eight years in Korea, working at Korean Research Institute of Geriatrics as the senior researcher and then at Sangji University.
