I practice in a naturopathic primary care setting and see patients of all ages, including pediatrics. I typically use a combination of diet and lifestyle counseling, nutritional supplements, botanical medicine, and homeopathy to help restore health and empower my patients.

I am a down-to-earth (but still-above-the-ground) acupuncturist with a good sense of humor, hair color that's always changing, and a deep interest in my patients' lives. Clients like my personality, which puts them at ease, my gentle needling style, and the fact that I listen and am genuinely interested in what they have to say. My goal in my practice is to have good relationships with my clients and to see them healthy, strong, and enjoying life.

Each patient is an individual and as such, requires treatments that are customized for them. Especially in chronic disease, which is where naturopathic medicine and acupuncture help greatly, taking one magic pill or supplement will not resolve symptoms. Success depends greatly on recognizing what dietary changes, behavioral therapies, and lifestyle modifications the patient is willing to try in order to achieve overall health. I work collaboratively with people to not only identify what is causing their symptoms, but more importantly, identify what roadblocks are preventing them from achieving wellness and explore what treatments they want to try.

Our goal for you at Sound Clinic is to achieve optimal health. We, first of all, take the time to listen to your health concerns, perform the appropriate physical exams, and then formulate a unique and individual treatment plan for you. Your treatment protocol may include lifestyle changes, changes in your diet, nutritional supplements, an exercise program, a herbal formula, homeopathic remedies, allergy elimination treatments (NAET), and/or a liver/colon cleanse with colon hydrotherapy and special dietary program. Sound Dietitians brings the nutrition expertise of a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to you. We have RDNs in various locations around the Puget Sound region and can meet with individual clients for customized nutrition counseling. We partner with clinics and facilities to make Medical Nutrition Therapy accessible and convenient. We provide on-site presentations and nutrition counseling as part of business and government Wellness Programs.

We all have different experiences that shape who we are. I collaborate with my clients using a non diet, Healthy at Every Size (HAES) approach to help them find peace and contentment in their relationship with food, their bodies and their lives. Dr. John has been in practice for 25 years, having earned his doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 1998. After working for two years with a Medical Doctor, he opened The Natural Health Medical Clinic in 2000 on Beacon Hill, just South of Downtown Seattle. He specializes in treating pain and injuries, as well as treating a wide range of health conditions such as diabetes, chronic fatigue, poor immune function and hypthyroidism. Liz Wyosnick MS, RDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Masters in Nutrition Science. I offer a non-dogmatic approach to health where recommendations are rooted in sustainability and science. I am particularly passionate about empowering individuals to live their life most well, in which healthy choices become what they want to do, versus what they have to do.
