I’m a Registered Dietitian based in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I provide nutrition therapy to support my clients in their journey to heal their relationship with food, body and self. Working through a non-diet and body inclusive lens, we will explore your relationship with food and body, to both understand and bring neutrality to these relationships. We will set realistic goals for behavioral changes necessary to support you in your recovery. Together, we will identify and address the barriers and/or rules that exist around your eating experience to navigate toward honoring your natural, internal cues.

Our mission is to service the whole person through a conglomeration of different modalities including Acupuncture, Microneedling, Salt Caves and Massage. We offer Cupping, E-Stim, GuaSha, Moxibustion & Tui-Na. We work together with our clients to achieve complete wellness in a therapeutic and relaxing environment. We understand that no two individuals are exactly alike, and thus we can custom tailor a treatment plan to the patient's needs and specifications. Our goal is to ensure that our clients are living life to its fullest, with physical wellness as well as emotional balance and harmony.

I have a multifaceted Acupuncture practice where I treat many conditions including: Neurological, Orthopedic, Psychological, acute and chronic in presentation. Conditions such as neck, shoulder, elbow(lateral epicondylitis)and low back pain, sciatica, Bell' Palsy,urticaria, RA, GERD, constipation, insomnia, infertility have been successfully treated in my office. Each patient receives focused individual attention every treatment session.

I am an experienced Registered Dietitian, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, medical nutrition therapy, and general nutrition counseling. I am currently the director of the nutrition department at the NYS Psychiatric Institute, an in-patient treatment unit at Columbia University Medical Center. My philosophy is founded on the principle that being healthy does not require dieting or deprivation. Alex Leyberman graduated from the Oriental Medicine Program of Touro College. Touro is a comprehensive 5 year clinical master's program that stands as the only fully-accredited Graduate Oriental Medicine Program in the state of New York. He gained valuable experience at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he interned in the Labor & Delivery, Oncology, and Rehabilitation departments. At Lincoln Hospital, Alex worked exclusively at the Recovery Center with drug addicts fighting addiction and became NADA trained in the use of acupuncture in substance abuse. Currently Alex is working alongside a Medical Doctor treating adults with various medical conditions.

I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China and received my MD in 1993. I am a licensed Associate Chief Physician of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. During my 17 years of practice at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is also the National Acupuncture Clinical Research Center of China. I participated in numerous research projects for treating stroke, paralysis, acute and chronic pain, dementia, prostatitis and insomnia with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
