Dr. Nita Champion is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona, one of the finest leaders in educating Naturopathic Physicians in the United States. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Champion treats patients of all ages with a variety of health concerns with areas of interest in Family Medicine, Women's Health, and Endocrine disorders. She focuses in use of Clinical Nutrition, Homeopathy as well as Botanical Medicine.

My intent is to help people achieve optimal wellness in all areas of their life. I like working with all patients with a variety of issues. I have years of functional medicine experience and have seen the dramatic effect of treating patients for nutritional deficiency. Rather than merely treating symptoms, as a functional medicine practitioner I aim to understand the underlying imbalances or dysfunctions in the body that contribute to disease. By addressing these root causes, functional medicine seeks to restore balance and promote optimal health.

I aim to improve my clientele's relationship with food, regardless of the reason for the sessions. Many times, clients I work with feel preoccupied/obsessed with food and diet culture and are seeking release from this distress. The typical clientele I work with includes those struggling with disordered eating, those looking to gain or lose weight, and those who have concerns about cardiovascular health. I also have a Master of Science degree in Nutrition & Physical Performance and enjoy meeting with athletes to discuss ways to optimize performance through nutritional habits.

As a licensed physician who works in a functional medicine model, Certified Nutrition Specialist, and health coach, I work with patients with chronic diseases and symptoms to optimize their health and limit their medications through identification and healing of their core health imbalance(s). I see patients who are dealing with a wide variety of symptoms, including fatigue, anxiety and depression, IBS, autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, arthritis, leaky gut, menopausal issues, and cancer risk reduction-primary and secondary.

We have a particular passion for working with adolescents and young adults, and bridging the gap between higher levels of care and real-life experiences like sharing a living space, grocery shopping, and keeping a budget. My goal is to help people of all ages develop and maintain a peaceful relationship with food. Eating is meant to be enjoyed. However, eating can often become complex, confusing and stressful. I use a non-diet, Health at Every Size (HAES)-informed, "all foods fit" approach to help individuals build trust in themselves and their bodies. My nutrition philosophy is unique in that I focus on providing evidence-based, individualized nutrition recommendations focusing on moderation, variety, and how to fit patients' favorite foods into a healthy eating lifestyle. This can improve quality of life for many individuals who feel they must restrict certain foods to be healthy or lose weight. In addition, I have a special passion for working with individuals with eating disorders, athletes/dancers, weight management, and GI conditions/food allergies. My path as a Massage Therapist began in 1995 as a student and graduated with honors from Seattle Massage School at the Greenlake Campus - Seattle, Washington in 1996. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist -WA state, Board Certified Therapeutic Massage Bodywork (BCTMB), Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), hold an Intra Oral Endorsement on my Washington State LMT license and certified in Pregnancy and Post Natal Massage. In the fall of 1996 I completed Reiki Mastery Training in Sedona. Healing Touch levels 1-4 in Minneapolis 2015- 17.

Dr. Nate Champion is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Arizona and registered in the state of Minnesota. He is extensively trained in both conventional and alternative medicine. He has attended a 4-year, accredited medical school, including 2 years of clinical rotations, and has passed national board exams. Dr. Champion is Board Certified by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE). He is also a founding board member and the current Treasurer of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP), and past Vice President and current member of the Minnesota Association of Naturopathic Physicians (MNANP).

From a young age I have had a great interest in massage therapy and its ability to promote within me a positive enhancement of my physical and mental self image. I also feel that it has a strong impact on me in several aspects. I feel that the rewards are amazing knowing that I make difference in the way a person feels mentally,emotionally, spiritually and physically after my sessions. I am passionate about it because I make a difference in people's lives.

Our team specialises in digestive health, leaky gut, auto-immune diseases, inflammation/pain management, migraine relief, skin issues, weight/hormone imbalances, anxiety/depression and other chronic conditions. We combine state of the art lab testing and mind/body medicine to accurately identify root cause(s) and enable fast recovery.
