Are you looking to create a balanced and realistic relationship with food and body image? Perhaps you are wanting to heal your body, mind, and spirit from disordered eating and exercise patterns?

I am in my 25th year as a licensed Acupuncturist. I see many patients with pain and orthopedic related problems as well as chronic and debilitating illnesses such as cancer, MS, irritable bowel, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and mental health issues. I am also on staff at the MGH Cancer Center. While I do not treat cancer directly, I work to help with immune support and stress reduction, to support the whole person in body and mind as they go through cancer treatment. In addition to acupuncture, I work with my hands sometimes using Tuina chinese massage or Specialized Stretching (AIS).

As a Dietitian and Licensed social worker, I'm well versed in mental health and its impact on nutrition and relationship with food. I like to collaborate with my clients to make SMART goals with their participation to provide support to manage disordered eating thoughts and behaviors, conquer fears, and implement intuitive eating techniques to enjoy food freedom while improving your healt. I enjoy helping clients make food choices that meet their lifestyle (and also taste good). For others who like the structure of a meal plan, I can provide custom meal plans with grocery lists, recipes, and an app for logging with private messaging

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the New England School of Acupuncture. Most patients I see have some type of pain, lower back, sciatic, tennis elbow, arthritis just to name a few. I also am certified by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York for the treatment of cancer patients using acupuncture. I am passionate about working with individuals who are seeking a deeper understanding of their health, beyond the medical management of individual symptoms. Oftentimes these are people who are dissatisfied with the information and council given by Western pharmaceutically-driven medicine, which tends to be palliative rather than curative. For many, this dissatisfaction provides the motivation to explore health and the interconnectedness of the human body and mind, which is the foundation of naturopathic medicine.
