Karen is a New York State licensed, nationally certified Five Element acupuncturist. Karen earned a Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute in Maryland. As the first accredited acupuncture program in the United States, Tai Sophia's program combines rigorous classroom teaching with rich clinical experiences. As a result, Karen has a strong theoretical and philosophical foundation of how to treat each patient with skill, compassion and care.

Dr Sun was graduated and earned her Oriental MD degree from the medical school in China (North China Medical College), Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is the third generation of traditional Chinese medical doctors in her family and now she has over 20 years experience in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Dr. Wang is a NYS duly licensed acupuncturist who was brought up from a long line of traditional Chinese acupuncturists and herbologists in her family. Dr. Wang experience resonated from her acupuncturist practices both in Kunming, China and the United States. She is experienced in both traditional and neo-modern acupuncture treatment. This combined diagnostic approach allows her to focus on commonly encountered ailments as well as treating modern lifestyle related issues.

I am a Diplomat of Acupuncture, a Diplomat of Chinese Herbology, and a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (including Asian Bodywork Modalities, NCCAOM). My special interests include Internal Medicine, Women's Health, and patient education. I believe that treating each patient holistically involves extensive questioning, diverse treatment methods, and dedication from both patient and practitioner. Each treatment not only involves acupuncture but an array of other techniques that allow each patient to reach optimal health.

Alex Leyberman graduated from the Oriental Medicine Program of Touro College. Touro is a comprehensive 5 year clinical master's program that stands as the only fully-accredited Graduate Oriental Medicine Program in the state of New York. He gained valuable experience at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he interned in the Labor & Delivery, Oncology, and Rehabilitation departments. At Lincoln Hospital, Alex worked exclusively at the Recovery Center with drug addicts fighting addiction and became NADA trained in the use of acupuncture in substance abuse. Currently Alex is working alongside a Medical Doctor treating adults with various medical conditions.
