I have over 20 years experience in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, with a Master's Degree in Sports Medicine. I am Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. Many clients come to me for Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT), which is a technique used for treatment of lymphedema, an accumulation of fluid that can occur after lymph nodes are removed during surgery. LDT is very gentle, it consists of rubs, strokes or pushes of the skin in directions that follow the structure of the lymphatic system so that the lymph fluid can drain through proper channels. Sessions last from 60 - 90 minutes.

Joanna Jodar is a board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She is accredited by the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine. In addition, she is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and certified in Facial Rejuvenation. Her clinical experience includes working at various hospitals in New York such as St. Vincent's Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases and Lincoln Hospital.
