Dr. Brinkley enjoys general family practice and has a special passion for working with women and children. Dr. Matthew Solbrig is a California Licensed Naturopathic Doctor. He offers a diverse background of experience and hands-on approach to patient care. He has been an associate doctor with Dr. Frank Shallenberger MD at The Nevada Center in Carson City for seven years. Dr. Shallenberger is well known throughout the United States for his pioneering work using ozone gas (Prolozone) for treating chronic joint pains and acute injuries. This is what brought Dr. Hanson to this region from the Pacific Northwest, to learn this therapy and acquire the skill to use it effectively.

Before opening my own practice in Folsom, I worked at a busy acupuncture clinic for 4 years where we saw average 55 patients per day. It was precious experience for me as I was able to see and treat various medical conditions from the age of one-month-old babies to over 100-years-old elders. In Japan, acupuncture has been used extensively to treat childhood ailments. For youger childrens, I use special pediatric tools that developed about 300 years ago in Japan. Childrens, actually, respond better and faster than adults due to their sensitivity.

I have over 20 years experience as a Registered Dietitian with a master's degree in Public Health Nutrition (MPH). I also have a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and am a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She continued on to fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor earning her Doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2009. Dr. Ballere treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She holds a special place in her heart and in her practice for supportive cancer care since her mother's own diagnosis and winning battle with colon cancer that began in 2005.
