I'm Dr. Kent and here's my story: The truth is I'm just like you! At the age of 35 I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. For the next 10 years I took my thyroid medication faithfully and yet I never felt any better. Nothing really improved. Amanda is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) that specializes in plant-based eating, sports nutrition, & the intersection of the two. She also likes to work with those who have ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) due to her own lived experience & because there are not many dietitians who have experience in or understand it. She is a former high school science teacher with a M.Ed in science education who changed careers to become a RDN. She is also an avid runner & former division 1 cross country/ track athlete, who is enthusiastic about & fueled by a vegan diet. Amanda is also a UESCA Certified Running Coach.
