HI, I’m Alexis! I am a HAES aligned Registered Dietitian specializing in all forms of disordered eating, substance abuse, and medical nutrition therapy. My nutrition counseling approach would be described as weight neutral, client-centered, and evidence-based. I believe everyone has the potential to actualize a life free from the burdens of dieting, the pressure of self-criticism, and the distress of consistent body dissatisfaction. I also believe clients nutritionally affected by certain medical diagnoses can find joy in preparing meals consistent with their new version of health.

IN-PERSON and VIRTUAL appointments available. I have had the pleasure of serving the eating disorder community for 10+ years, working in all levels of care. Majority of my experience has been at the inpatient level of care, most recently serving as the Supervisor of Dietitians and Inpatient Eating Disorder Program at a behavioral health hospital. I have also worked in transitional living, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient nutrition counseling. As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), I work throughout the spectrum of eating disorders with all aged individuals.

My journey into the world of nutrition began with a profound fascination for the powerful connection between what we eat and how we feel. I am a firm believer in adopting a holistic approach to nutrition, considering the physical aspects, emotional and social factors that influence our relationship with food. As a passionate and dedicated dietitian, my mission is to empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being through personalized and sustainable nutrition strategies.

After two years of intensive instruction in Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic, Dr. Mark returned to Chicago to help Chicagoland get rid of pain. Haleigh practices out of Health Loft specializing in working with clients with Eating Disorders, PCOS, Pre/Postpartum nutrition, IBS, and Food Allergies. Haleigh loves helping her clients make small changes to their lifestyle that makes a huge difference to their health. Haleigh is dedicated to assisting clients with a mind-body approach to a healthier lifestyle through education on intuitive eating, stress reduction and a whole foods approach. She is a “non-diet” dietitian and strongly supports making changes that work for each person as an individual.

Hyundo (a.k.a. Hans) Kim is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and a former professor at the prestigious Sangji University in Korea. He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Then he graduated from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA with Magna Cum Laude and spent the next eight years in Korea, working at Korean Research Institute of Geriatrics as the senior researcher and then at Sangji University.

Dana’s individualized approach focuses on educating athletes about the importance of nutrition for maximizing success in their sport, while establishing healthy behaviors to benefit them long after their athletic careers.

Our office utilizes mainstream medical diagnosis and treatment protocols combined with an integrative/holistic medical approach for the treatment of all disease processes including autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, hormone imbalances, gastrointestinal problems,headaches, fibromyalgia pain,orthopedic issues,etc. We utilize herbal and nutritional medicines as an adjunct treatment for a variety of illness to compliment our patients' care. We also utilize chiropractic manipulation, massage,and physical therapy to assist with all orthopedic complaints for the spine and extremities. We also work intensively with sports injury rehab.

For nearly a decade, I have specialized in working with adolescents and adults with disordered eating and medical nutrition therapy. I have worked as an RD in a variety of populations including eating disorders, general nutrition therapy at hospitals, the director of nutrition at a residential treatment facility and outpatient levels of care. I was born and raised in Chicago, attended the University of Dayton for undergrad (Go Flyers!) and received my master's degree at Central Michigan University. I currently work at the University of Chicago as the liver transplant dietitian, specializing in all types of liver disease. I also own my own consulting business which has allowed me to broaden my expertise to serve an even wider variety of patient populations. When I am not working, I am spending time with my family- my husband, Kevin, and my two young (crazy) boys, Marty and Charlie, and have one more on the way!
