I help people reduce shame and guilt around eating, bring understanding and compassion to eating behaviors, and empower people to make choices around food and their bodies that feel aligned with their life values. Hi! I’m Dr. Bethany and I am so honored to share my passion for naturopathic medicine with you. I’m a licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) trained as a primary care physician and have completed additional training focused in reproductive health, fertility awareness method, and pelvic floor therapy. Some of my favorite areas of health to support include: Preconception/postpartum care, menstrual disorders including PCOS, PMS, PMDD, endocrine imbalances including Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. I practice with an emphasis on body literacy and cycle tracking for adolescents through adulthood.

I am a registered dietitian and nutrition therapist specializing in treating eating disorders and disordered eating for all ages. My aim in nutrition counseling is to help others find peace and joy in their relationship with food. So many of us experience shame, confusion, guilt, or discomfort around food and eating. I strive to come alongside my clients to rediscover a way of eating that brings nourishment, connection and clarity.

I primarily treat chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries. My belief is that these are often multi-faceted. Injuries can ultimately be a result of structural or movement imbalances that go beyond a simple slip and fall. Pain itself can have multiple causes; there are different "types" of pain. As such, patients often need a diverse approach and my goal is to help guide this process.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I focus on the person in front of me, listen to their health needs, and work with them by addressing their entire person. This simply means that I look at every factor that has affected this person throughout their entire life including childhood home life, infections and treatments, surgeries, other trauma, diet, social interactions, and lifestyle. By using these influences together with labwork I work with my clients to create a plan that works for them to support their current complaint by addressing the origin of their concerns.
