As a registered dietitian nutritionist and the owner of The Sweet Life Nutrition and Fitness, I believe in meeting the patient where they're at, "...because everyone deserves to live the sweet life". I am a native Houstonian who earned my Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from The American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Prior to my training in acupuncture and herbal medicine, I was a yoga instructor. I completed thorough, well-rounded teacher trainings with Robert Boustany as well as Ana Forrest. I now incorporate my knowledge of the breath, the body & finding balance ~ from the inside, out ~ to my acupuncture practice.

Our office specializes in the upper cervical technique, Atlas Orthogonal. It is a low force technique using an instrument to adjust the spine. It is painless and does not involve any twisting. If you are uncomfortable with manual adjustments and do not like to get your spine "popped" this is an better option for you. I have been using this technique for over twenty years. I practiced in North Carolina and have recently moved to Houston.I also have a RN degree and still work as a nurse part time.
