For example, spinach or chicken may be toxic to my patient but healthy to someone else. Welcome to Nutrition Counseling of New England! Where I have the honor of working with individual clients, families, and worksites. I help individuals who are looking to quit dieting for good and instead heal their relationship with food. My clients learn how to healthfully prepare their favorite foods and enjoy them fully! I became a dietitian in 2013 because of a strong interest and passion for food. That passion for food started in my teens and ultimately fueled my decision to go to culinary school. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the New England School of Acupuncture. Most patients I see have some type of pain, lower back, sciatic, tennis elbow, arthritis just to name a few. I also am certified by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York for the treatment of cancer patients using acupuncture. I became interested in natural healing techniques a long time ago. Considering the potential side effects of medicines commonly prescribed, I thought it worthwhile to study alternative methods of healing. Initially, I trained in Shiatsu and Massage Therapy, I graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1984. My post-graduate studies involved extensive training in Chinese Herbal Medicine.
