She received a Master’s degree in Public Health and Nutrition from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health and completed her dietetics training through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Coordinated RD program. Eliza has experience providing nutrition care in a variety of settings, including eating disorder treatment, group practice, and long term care. Eliza practices from a non-diet, weight-neutral approach, caring for the whole person.

Megan is double board certified as both a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition. She graduated with her Master of Science in Human Nutrition from The University of Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from The University of Mississippi. She completed her dietetic internship from Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Megan has been practicing as a Registered Dietitian for 5 years. The first 2 years of her career as a dietitian, she specialized in meal planning, menu building, and nutrition education material development.

Laurie is the founder and chief executive manager of Insight EAP LLC. She is a licensed clinical social worker as well as a licensed acupuncturist who practices integrative health care in Chicago and Park Ridge, IL. Her integrative approach is one that incorporates psychotherapy, Chinese Medicine, nutritional counseling, and exercise, treating the mind - body in a truly holistic way.

Ilana has been a Registered Dietitian since 2017. She completed her dietetic internship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She specializes in providing medical nutrition therapy for various neurological conditions including epilepsy, post-traumatic brain injury, stroke prevention and post-stroke management, swallowing difficulty with use of modified diets, alternative routes of nutrition. Additionally, she also provides medical nutrition therapy for gestational diabetes, high cholesterol and weight loss. Peggy is a registered and licensed dietitian. She graduated Cum Laude with a double major in biology and psychology from Loyola University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois, with her Dietetics degree and her Masters in Public Health. Peggy has counseled thousands of patients in an outpatient setting for over 22 years. By working with Peggy, you will gain increased clarity with not only your personal nutrition goals, but also the sometimes confusing and conflicting nutrition landscape. She provides one-on-one, personalized nutrition recommendations in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Jessica became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist after completing her Dietetic Internship and master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition through Murray State University, Kentucky. She has been afforded the opportunity to work in many clinical settings throughout her career, including rehab facilities, small and large hospitals, and within physician’s offices in addition to one-on-one clients. My name is Michel Harris and I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2000 and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2010. I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Benedictine University before by internship at Hines VA Hospital. Some of my past work experiences have included long term care, foodservice management, private practice serving individuals with eating disorders, and inpatient positions in hospitals. My passion for teaching the future generation of nutrition professionals led me to start teaching in 2018.

Sara has been a Registered Dietitian since 2016. She specializes in providing medical nutrition therapy for oncology patients. She works with patients prior to starting cancer treatment, during treatment, and for nutrition therapy after completing treatment. During her spare time, Sara enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and hiking.

Anna is a Registered Dietitian that practices out of Health Loft specializing in working with adults and pediatrics with a history of GI disorders (Celiac, IBS, Low-FODMAP, IBD, Constipation, GERD, lactase and sucrase deficiency), Healthy Eating, Weight Management, Food Allergies, and Pediatric Nutrition. She works collaboratively with clients to set realistic and practical goals reflective of individualized nutrition plans. She believes that balanced nutrition looks differently for everyone, and client’s medical history needs to be considered along with their resources, schedules, and circumstances.

Lyla Joffe, MS, RDN, is a nationally recognized Registered Dietitian and a Yoga Alliance recognized 200hr Registered Yoga Instructor. She has a passion for a holistically healthy lifestyle and has inspired many to alter their habits in a way that encourages optimal functioning with boosted confidence.She specializes in the postpartum period with a strong interest in hormonal changes and disturbances altering various metabolic processes across all lifespans.

I was born and raised in Chicago, attended the University of Dayton for undergrad (Go Flyers!) and received my master's degree at Central Michigan University. I currently work at the University of Chicago as the liver transplant dietitian, specializing in all types of liver disease. I also own my own consulting business which has allowed me to broaden my expertise to serve an even wider variety of patient populations. When I am not working, I am spending time with my family- my husband, Kevin, and my two young (crazy) boys, Marty and Charlie, and have one more on the way!

Julia strives to bring a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor to foster a safe space where individuals feel heard and understood, making her a ready and capable resource in the challenging but transformative process of overcoming nutrition challenges. Julia offers a wealth of knowledge that comes from years of working in the inpatient setting.

Spanning the age spectrum, from her founding her own practice as Youth Sports Dietitian LLC to her 19 years in geriatrics as a clinical dietitian, Emily is a Board-Certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist licensed in Illinois and Missouri and Certified Youth Nutrition Specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Central Missouri State University, graduating as the chapter’s President of Kappa Omicron Nu Honors Fraternity. Her didactic practicum was completed at Jewish College of Nursing and Allied Health in association with Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University.

Food does not replace medicine; however, she does believe that it can go a long way in preventing and managing diseases and conditions.
