Natalie is a Board-Certified Registered Dietitian licensed in the state of Illinois. She attended Dominican University, where she completed her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as her MS in Nutrition. Spanning her career, Natalie has worked with a wide variety of individuals, from adolescents to adults with varying health conditions. It was after working with a private practice group in Chicago that Natalie discovered her passion for helping those suffering with eating disorders or years of disordered eating patterns repair their relationship with food.

I am interested in the preventive side of healthcare, and truly believe food can be medicine. I view my health as one of the most important things in my life, and I want to encourage my clients to see the value in their health and accomplish their wellness goals. I personally follow a pescetarian, but mostly plant-based diet, and am a huge proponent of any type of movement. I treat all conditions through the modalities that I am familiar with. I have been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)-- including Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology -- for 25 years. I have also taught TCM for 25 years at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City and have served on the board of the Acupuncture Society of New York and have been working for the national testing organization for the licensure of Chinese Medicine practitioners (NCCAOM) for 25 years.

Using Kiiko Matsumoto Style Japanese Acupuncture and Japanese Meridian Therapy, I will work to bring you into a full recovery as efficiently and effectively as possible. This style of acupuncture utilizes a highly systematic method of palpation to gain diagnostic information thru touch. Using thinner needles, extremely gentle needle techniques and moxa, close attention is paid to precise location of acupuncture points and patient feedback is critical in guiding the treatment. Sessions will not be rushed and every effort will be made to assure you feel comfortable. I treat one patient at a time. Sessions are 90 minutes +.
