Hello! I am a North Carolina-based Registered Dietitian with the group practice Karuna Wellness Studio, who sees clients virtually across the US. Karuna is a group practice that offers nutrition and movement services through a anti-diet, HAES-aligned, weight-neutral approach. We integrate elements of lifestyle medicine & nutritional psychiatry to serve as health advocates for our clients, promoting both physical and mental health. With clients, I create safe space where her clients can discover their authentic selves, meet their needs while rediscovering joy, and work toward autonomy in their relationship with food and body.

I founded my company, Total Nutrition Technology (TNT) is 1993 due to my own struggles with weight and health. Hope Peek is a cofounder and the Director of Integrative Women's Health services at Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center. She is one of the first acupuncturists in the nation to achieve fellow status with the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). She is also a charter member of the Clinical Excellence in Fertility Program and is nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Hope graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM in 2005 with a masters degree in Oriental medicine (MSOM) and completed an additional internship in Beijing, China.

Emily has spent the majority of her career in higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment (RES, PHP, IOP) treating various eating disorders diagnoses.

Hello there! I’m a fiercely anti-diet Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) specializing in eating disorders. My journey as a dietitian began at the intersection of nutrition and psychology. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology degrees from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Practice from Thomas Jefferson University. My commitment to ongoing education and practicing with humility ensures that I provide evidence-based, personalized care to each of my clients. I have eating disorder experience at multiple levels of care.

Todd George is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. He received a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College (MSOM) in 2005, and he has completed postgraduate clinical training in hospitals in Beijing, China. Todd was the first acupuncturist in North Carolina to complete the dry needling program of the Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series with Myopain Seminars, and he is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT). He is also certified in neuroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture and electroacupuncture.
