Dr. Xie (Dr. J) is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist (NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine). Dr. J is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and Wisconsin. He practiced traditional and conventional medicine in China from 1985 to 2005 as a physician and professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced acupuncture in USA since 2005. He currently is a Professor and a clinical supervisor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. His training includes 5 years of medical school, 3 years of residency, 7 years of postgraduate training in traditional and conventional medicine.

Dr. Lizhi Wei is a highly respected and accomplished acupuncturist, with over 30 years of experience in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. She received her medical degree from Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine University in China, and has since dedicated herself to helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being through the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She is committed to providing safe and effective treatment, and works closely with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs.

I truly enjoy working with clients that currently have or have a history of an eating disorder and/or body image or food related issues. Working with those who are done with the dieting culture, and tired of experiencing statements from healthcare professionals about how they have to change their body.
