Heather is passionate about working collaboratively with her clients to help them heal their relationship with their body and food. She works with clients to facilitate changes that will improve overall quality of life. She believes that food and nutrition should not only support someone’s physical health, but their social, emotional, and mental health as well. Her own experiences have fueled her particular interest in intuitive eating, disordered eating and HAES aligned care. She loves working alongside clients to find creative ways to make food both nourishing and enjoyable.

My services are primarily mobile as I believe that the best way to help a client achieve as high a level of relaxation, is for them to receive my services in their own environment. I have just moved to the Houston area and have an office located at Hand and Stone in the Oak Forest area. My ideal client is male or female from the age of 17 to the elder years. They are active in maintaining what is for them, optimal health. My goals in working with each of my clients to share with them practical ways of reducing the effects of the stress, injuries, and other minor trauma effects that can lead to chronic soft tissue maladies.

With over 35 years of experience in China and USA, Dr. Jia is especially successful in treating conditions such as different type of chronic pain, migraines, cancer-related symptoms, facial paralysis, emotional disorders, asthma, allergies, digestive disorders, other difficult cases, and other internal medicine complaints. I'm a Registered Dietitian, based in the great state of Texas. I've worked in what feels like all aspects of the nutrition world- from clinical, to holistic, and even the community side of things. All of which have provided me with an immense insight and understanding of what individuals struggle with and what resources they need to truly be successful in their goals.
