Karen is a New York State licensed, nationally certified Five Element acupuncturist. Karen earned a Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute in Maryland. As the first accredited acupuncture program in the United States, Tai Sophia's program combines rigorous classroom teaching with rich clinical experiences. As a result, Karen has a strong theoretical and philosophical foundation of how to treat each patient with skill, compassion and care.

The Registered Dietitians at Nutrition in Motion share a philosophy of using food to fuel, nourish and strengthen one's body. Touro is a comprehensive 5 year clinical master's program that stands as the only fully-accredited Graduate Oriental Medicine Program in the state of New York. He gained valuable experience at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he interned in the Labor & Delivery, Oncology, and Rehabilitation departments. At Lincoln Hospital, Alex worked exclusively at the Recovery Center with drug addicts fighting addiction and became NADA trained in the use of acupuncture in substance abuse. Currently Alex is working alongside a Medical Doctor treating adults with various medical conditions.
