Plus, I can relate to their desperation to get their life back. In 2005 I put my knowledge of nutrition to the test when, two weeks after invasive back surgery I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Shortly afterwards I discovered multiple food allergies. Once those were removed I stopped three prescription medications and feel better than I had in years. I absolutely love bringing that relief to clients!

Hi! My name is Melissa and I am both a registered dietitian and a nurse. Although I have learned so much and enjoyed working as a registered nurse in both acute care and outpatient settings, my interests truly lie in chronic disease prevention and management through a healthful diet and lifestyle and in learning from the journey taken toward achieving these goals.
