I am an experienced professional treating a diversity of patients and believe in treatment that includes a combination of evidence based therapeutic and dietetic practices. We will work together to improve your Diabetes, Cardiovascular, GI health, or relationship with food over time and help you to feel physically well. Over 30 years ago, I was a co-founder and a major author of IMT (Integrative Manual Therapy) with my dear wife, Sharon W. Giammatteo, IMT (1948-2015). Integrative Manual Therapy is a unique set of techniques, approaches, and methodologies that address pain, dysfunction, disease and disability. IMT is best described as a health care process. IMT encompasses a wide range of health care practices. It achieves health and healing by taking into account the diverse systems of the human body and addressing dysfunction at the cellular level.

I specialize in fertility / infertility acupuncture, pain management acupuncture and stress disorders, but my practice is multi-fold and I work with far more than just that. I work with my patients from a holistic perspective, in which we look at diet, lifestyle and all else that can influence health. While I use acupuncture (and other Chinese healing modalities when necessary), I like to see that the patient is able to find freedom from symptoms and retain positive health on their own through their newly found knowledge about their health.
