I offer a weight neutral, client-centered, non-judgmental, trauma informed and somatically oriented approach to nutrition counseling where we work together to explore and heal your relationship with food and body image. I specialize in working with folks who have eating disorders, disordered eating, diabetes, PCOS and athletes. These experiences help inform my nutrition practice and I’m excited to continue to learn from the clients I have the privilege of working with now.

I live and practice by the belief that all foods have a place in a healthy and balanced diet, and that no one food is “bad”. In a society where we are constantly searching for the next trending diet plan or magic pill, I am committed to countering the noise with evidence-based information and a mind-body approach to nutrition and overall wellbeing. I am passionate about helping my clients make realistic and sustainable lifestyle changes that they feel good about – physically, mentally and emotionally.

My goal as a Registered Dietitian is to help others find peace with food, their bodies, and movement. I work with people of all ages and specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating, although I accept clients who are struggling with their overall relationship with food or are dealing with nutrition-related health complications, such as GI issues. There is a lot of nutrition misinformation available and I want to provide evidence-based nutrition to debunk diet culture myths and help clients heal their relationship with food.

Hope Peek is a cofounder and the Director of Integrative Women's Health services at Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center. She is one of the first acupuncturists in the nation to achieve fellow status with the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). She is also a charter member of the Clinical Excellence in Fertility Program and is nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. Hope graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM in 2005 with a masters degree in Oriental medicine (MSOM) and completed an additional internship in Beijing, China.

I help my patients find the root cause of their disease or symptoms, and provide an individualized approach to treatment based on their unique needs. I specifically work with a lot of hormonal issues including menstrual pain or irregularities, PCOS, and fertility issues as well as digestive issues including bloating, constipation, diarrhea, Irritable Bowel, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, food sensitivities, and more. With the right tools, testing, and proper evaluation, it is possible to get the answers that we need so you can feel good, have more energy, and live a pain-free life.

Todd George is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. He received a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College (MSOM) in 2005, and he has completed postgraduate clinical training in hospitals in Beijing, China. Todd was the first acupuncturist in North Carolina to complete the dry needling program of the Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series with Myopain Seminars, and he is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT). He is also certified in neuroacupuncture, scalp acupuncture and electroacupuncture.

As a nurse massage therapist and transformative nurse coach, I offer a unique blend of traditional medical training along with a variety of complementary healing modalities to better serve my clients. This enables me to create a safe and comforting environment addressing the complex medical, rehabilitative and emotional needs of those under my care. Knowing your particular body constitution is vital since your treatment could be completely different from someone else even if you have the exact same symptoms and diagnosis. What you eat is also very important so you know how to maintain the treatments you receive from me. As part of my care, every patient receives comprehensive dietary and lifestyle activities counseling.

As a dietitian I am able to help people in a variety of ways. From sports performance, weight management, diabetes and disease management and other client needs I have been trained in a variety of areas to understand and apply science and research to develop the plan of action to help. Using evidenced based practices, I am able to create and execute a realistic and achievable plan for my clients.

Emily practices out of Health Loft and specializes in working with Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, Plant Based Diets, Digestive Issues, Body Image Concerns and other conditions. She strongly believes that all foods fit and strives to help clients in their food freedom journey. Using a weight neutral and non-judgemental approach, Emily believes that health is multifactorial and will work to see you as a person, rather than a diagnosis. Emily has spent the majority of her career in higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment (RES, PHP, IOP) treating various eating disorders diagnoses.

He obtained his B.S in Food and Dietetics and his Masters in Nutrition from Appalachian State University. Michael enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, while having experience in chronic disease, healthy aging, sports performance, gut health disorders and inflammation. This passion extends to the LGBTQIA+ population and assisting those in underserved communities.
