I'm Rebecca Alcosser (she/her/hers), an anti-diet Registered Dietitian based in New York City. Megan Wolf is a New York City based Registered Dietitian. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and a Bachelors degree in Anthropology from Bates College. Megan is an avid cook, public speaker, and cookbook author. She is the author of the plant based cookbook, Great Meals with Greens and Grains.

Many patients are surprised (and some are relieved!) to know that I specialize in acupuncture without needles. Instead of needles, I use AcuLaser (laser light) to stimulate acupuncture points. It is based on Zen Shiatsu, Zero Balancing, Myofascial Release, and CranioSacral Therapy. You wear loose, comfortable clothing and lie on a massage table placed over a Therapeutic Magnetic Grid. No oils are used. I notice where your tension is, where your weaknesses are and where you have the tendency toward illness. I pay special attention to problems associated with the neck and the back. Joyce K. Anastasi, PhD, DrNP, FAAN, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist, Diplomat of the NCCAOM and an Advanced Practice Nurse. She holds two doctorates, a PhD from Adelphi University and a DrNP from Columbia University. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. She has been on the faculty of Columbia University for over 16 years and former Helen F. Pettit Endowed Professor. She is currently the Independence Foundation Professor at New York University. She was appointed and served on the Advisory Board for the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) report on The Use of CAM by the American Public.
