The dietitians at Beyond are Fat Positive, Anti-Diet Dietitians. We specialize in Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating in both adults and children/adolescents/teens. We serves three different clients – adolescents and adults with eating disorders, those wanting to reject diet culture, and families of children struggling with body image and feeding concerns. Clients are typically either trying to finally find peace with food/body or looking to help their children have a good relationship with food.
We are all Health at Every Size(R) and work from a Weight Inclusive Framework. We use the Eating Competence, Division of Responsibility of Feeding and Intuitive Eating Models to heal eating concerns. We will support you and/or your child(ren) in trusting their bodies again. We are neutral about what you eat and will never pathologize your body.
All too often clients do not seek the support they need because of stigma or are struggling for years. Sometimes eating concerns have not been taken seriously. Thoughts about food and/or body do not need to take over most of your day. We are honored each and every day to support clients to let go of control and trust themselves to food and body peace.
