I enjoy using visceral manipulation, cranial sacral, ashiatsu massage, cupping, and moxibustion to address musculoskeletal pain, psychoemotional issues such as insomnia and addiction, and improving digestion. I provide the body with subtle information so that the body's own life force can be strengthened. I chose the name Joy Point Acupuncture, because good medicine should put people at ease and on a path towards well being. Dr. Adam Geiger is a naturopathic physician specializing in musculoskeletal ultrasound and orthopedic medicine. Dr. Geiger graduated from the University of Michigan with an honors degree in biochemistry and completed the Naturopathic Medicine program at Bastyr University in 2005. He was selected for a two year residency in nutritional and orthopedic medicine with Thomas Dorman, MD at the Paracelsus Clinic and was trained in Cyriax orthopedics and prolotherapy. He remained on staff there until 2009 and in 2010 he started his private practice in Seattle specializing in regenerative and orthopedic medicine.

Dr. Fred Chard Dr. Chard received his DC degree from Western States Chiropractic, Portland, Oregon in 1977. His first animal patients were a goat, and then horses. From 1984-5, Dr. Chard also attended acupuncture college in Honolulu, HI, at the Amerasian Institute The doctor moved to Washington, and worked with a holistic veterinarian in Renton, WA, providing animal chiropractic care to dogs and cats from 1989 to 2001. In 2005, Dr. Chard was awarded his national certification in non-needle ear acupuncture by the Auriculo-Therapy Institute of Los Angeles, California. I have 18 years of experience helping people with diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes), as well as 10 years of experience working with pre and post-op metabolic and bariatric surgery patients. My specialties include nutrition education and meal planning for obesity, weight management, and diabetes.
